Nicholas Fitterer

Nicholas Fitterer is a Nurse Practitioner with broad experience in primary care, oncology, addiction medicine, and community-based health services. He is committed to providing holistic, trauma-informed, and patient-centred care, taking the time to understand each person's physical, emotional, and social needs.
Nicholas believes in working collaboratively with patients, supporting informed decision-making, and creating a safe, respectful environment where individuals feel heard and valued. His approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-informed practice, and respect for each patient's lived experience.
In addition to clinical practice, Nicholas teaches in undergraduate nursing programs, which helps keep his care current, thoughtful, and aligned with best practices. He holds a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and a Bachelor of Nursing with distinction.
Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
